Amazing Dutch farmhouse

It was love at first side when Dutch designer couple Ina and Matthijs laid eyes on their farmhouse in Friesland (way up North in the Netherlands). It took over a year though before they could start with the renovations - as the necessary permissions did not come through any earlier. But it was worth the wait.. 450 sqm of living space with an open kitchen, a super large living and office space for their design studio INA MATT. So love the concrete floors, which run all the way up the walls to create some kind of large shelf. Dutch design, pretty (Moroccan) rugs and amazing artwork.. enjoy!

Tip! Visit the new Sissy-Boy flagshipstore in Haarlem which is designed by INA MATT, so pretty!

Oh how i would love these pretty tiles on my kitchen wall or bathroom floor! Bold in black, blues and greys. Super stylish patterns, each one designed by a talented House of Rym designer. The squared tiles – for example – are designed by Elisabeth Dunker and those darling doves by Cecilia Pettersson. My absolute favorites though, are the ones with House of Rym’s signature pattern Tu es la vague, designed by Anna Backlund. Have a happy weekend dears, hope to see you again Monday! x

This super cool looking apartment in Copenhagen belongs to graphic designer Naja Tolsing and
her husband architect Kristian Rehder. No wonder this place is just so well thought of and perfectly decorated. When the couple got the key to their home - around three years ago - all rooms were totally naked and everything had to be build up from scratch. So love how their kitchen does not dominate the room and how the birch wood theme brings both kitchen and living room together. Pretty accessories, colorful flowers and – of course – amazing artwork.. i’m lovin’ it!

Poetic pictures, lots of curiosa, vintage teapots and flea market finds mixed with design features from We Do Wood, Hay and the pretty floor lamp Parentesi by Flos. Wanted to introduce you to Manos for quite a while now. Discovered this lovely shop in the SOFO area beginning of last year during my trip to Stockholm. Posters, artwork, lifestyle magazines and the most amazing ceramics made by owner Karin Eriksson. It’s about impossible to leave this store without purchasing something pretty. So last weekend - during one of my visits - i’ve treated myself to the cutest container (like these) with hand painted leaves in the colors green & black and the Spring issue of Anthology (love!). This really must be Stockholm's sweetest shopstop.. do stop by! :)

This stunning two-bedroom apartment in Sydney belongs to Frag Woodall and his wife Naomi.
They bought their home in 2011 when it was in a really bad state. Frag however, immediately saw its potential. Lots of natural light, white painted floors & walls and pretty looking beams. To balance all the white Frag used rough Baltic pine wood paneling in the living room. Vintage finds and furniture designs by Frag (design studio Mr.Fräg) himself. What a calm, inviting and light home.. i’m lovin’ it!

This sweet summerhouse in Asserbo, Denmark belongs to designer Pauline Romer and her husband Jacob. It use to belong to her grandma and Pauline did spend lots of holidays here. It’s packed with childhood memories and therefore she tried to keep the original details in tact as much possible. Old hand painted bowls, pretty Thonet chairs around the dining table and a central wood burning stove, which provides much needed heat in the cooler months. What a loveliness! :)

Fresh Swedish townhouse

Easy, breezy is what comes to mind checking out this pretty townhouse in Sigtuna, Sweden, of brand manager at EDBLAD, Rigette Klint. This house used to be both her studio and home so it called for a combination of function and livability (Rigette and family now live in Stockholm). So love the table setting with porcelain from Royal Copenhagen, linen, pretty whites and fresh flowers. All thought - Rigette says – there is not much tought behind the styling of her interior, i think she did a stunning job!

This charming old villa in Søborg belongs to Annet Ansholm and her family of four. Annet is a real collector of all things pretty found at flea markets, on trips and in small design shops. So love how everything is carefully selected and fits just perfectly. Lots of light, gentle colors, matching tea-cans and pretty DIY’s. The kitchen is old but Annet managed to update it by painting the counter in a high gloss black and a set of new leather straps. What a relaxed and welcoming home.. i'm inspired!
